AFL Teams For Round 1, 2012
The start of the 2012 season is upon us and while I haven’t got this site to where I wanted too yet, the season is here and we are off and running with a single game this weekend. And what a game it will be. Okay, its likely to be a “de-stroy-ation” as big Rexy would say but it is the first official Home and Away game for the AFL’s latest team, the Greater Western Sydney Giants. They will take on there across town rivials the Sydney Swans in the battle for the Bridge and the White Ribbon Trophy (in support of the White Ribbon campaign to stop voilence against women).
This will also see the first partial lookout of the 2012 seasons for the Fantasy Comps (like DreamTeam and SuperCoach). So unlike last year where we went blind into the season as far as the new teams rookie prospects with the Gold Coast Suns having a round 1 bye, we see the Giants lay there team bear on the table before any other.
So onto the teams. Don’t forget that I will update the post as the weekend goes on! Also will have coverage after the game is finished.
