The much criticized (wrongly in this biased Hawks supporters opinion) Hawthorn backline is looking for a new member this week with the unfortunate injury to rising star, Ben Stratton, who ruptured his PCL in last weeks win against the Tigers. But as Clarkson likes to say, an injury to one player is an opertunity to another. The main options I see for replacing him would be Thomas Murphy, Paul Puopolo or possibly moving Hodge down there and just brining in Rioli and Mitchell. Personally I see Murphy as the most likely (assuming his fitness) as he has played that third tall position before. I guess we will see shortly enough. There is still concerns by some on the health of Sam Mitchell and so he may miss again.
In the first bit of news to come through, Mick Malthouse has signaled that their best Ruckman, Darren Jolly will miss this week with a knee complaint and that Cameron Woods will replace him. While talking rucks, one of the biggest (literally) health/selection issues that DreamTeam/SuperCoach players will be watching for is that of whether Fremantle play Mr 211, Aaron Sandilands. After sustaining an eye injury in last weeks game with the Crows, there has been a slight speculation that he would miss this week, something that the Dockers are denying. Time will tell.
