The title might not be what you think. He should go for his crued late bump on Farren Ray (the irony after round 1) but seeing as the Tigers have the Hawks this week, that will mean he will be spared chasing around Roughead or Franklin on the weekend. Not the worst time. But seriously, the bump was high and late. I would be very surprised if he got off it.

In summary, he can accept a two-match sanction with an early plea.
After considering the video evidence and medical report lodged by St Kilda, the incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), medium impact (two points) and high contact (two points). This is a total of six activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Three offence, drawing 325 demerit points and a three-match sanction. He has no existing good or bad record. In summary, his previous poor record and carry-over points from within the last 12 months means that his one-game sanction must remain at one game, even with an early plea.
After considering the video evidence and medical report lodged by Melbourne, the incident was assessed as intentional conduct (three points), low impact (one point) and body contact (one point). This is a total of five activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Two offence, drawing 125 demerit points and a one-match sanction. Other incidents assessed:
Contact between the Geelong Cats’ Cameron Ling and Fremantle’s Hayden Ballantyne from the second quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed. Based on the medical evidence submitted to the panel and the available video evidence, the force was below that required to constitute a reportable offence. It was the view of the Panel that the umpire dealt with the incident at the time, by paying a free kick and no further action was required.
Contact between the Geelong Cats’ Joel Corey and Fremantle’s Adam McPhee from the second quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed. The panel said that contact was below that required to constitute a reportable offence, but warranted a free kick to be paid to the Fremantle player. The panel said that contact was not made with a swinging motion and player McPhee was not moving quickly, as per the Tribunal guidelines. No further action was taken.
Contact between the Geelong Cats’ Corey Enright and Fremantle’s Kepler Bradley from the third quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed. The panel said that Enright ran on to the ground from the interchange bench as Bradley ran towards the wing. Enright bumped Bradley as the ball was coming towards them. The contact was body to body and was not deemed to be reportable. No further action was taken.
Contact between Carlton’s Andrew Carazzo and the Gold Coast Suns’ Daniel Harris from the third quarter of Saturday’s match was assessed. Based on the medical report and the available video evidence, it could not be determined that a reportable offence had occurred. No further action was taken.
