I always want to have a footy site and this site has had a few different names and focuses. One of those names was Molly’s Monday Machination and it was mainly just a weekly podcast. The name was stolen from the name given to the thoughts (probably a better way of putting it would be incoherent ramblings) I passed on to the first and still best AFL based podcast, Footytalk.com.au. Explosion still runs the podcast and each week he and another footy lover go through the games and more importantly the issues. Explosion has strong views (and apart for a time I believed him to be in the AFL’s back pocket) he isn’t afraid to give his opinions! If you haven’t listened to the show, do yourself a favor! The bitch-fight that will surround the awarding of TV Rights for 2012 onwards. Foxtel will be the major winner and will out-bid Channel 7 for live Friday night footy, with Foxtel then on selling the rights to Channel 7 rights to replay the game in Melbourne at 11.00pm
