Grand Finalist:

Premiers: Hawthorn vs Collingwood

Apart from your own side, which team would you like to see win the flag?

I would like to see Hawthorn give the premiership another good crack as they have the talent and I still find it hard to believe that 08′ was a fluke. If Buddy and Roughy are firing up forward, Cyril heads to the midfield and Shaun Burgoyne leads the clearances they can be every chance.

Out of those you have out of the 8, who are you most nervous of leaving out (i.e. smokey for the 8)?

Gold Coast would be my biggest smokey for the 8 because there is a lot of mystery surrounding them. A team full of young stars and older guns will be a figure of inconsistency. But who knows, that inconsistency might be enough to get into the finals.

PLAYER AWARDS

Brownlow Medalist: Dane Swan

Smokey for the Brownlow: Travis Boak

Coleman Medalist: Lance Franklin

NAB Rising Star: Dave Swallow

Player to make the biggest improvement over the year?

Josh P Kennedy of Sydney has had a massive pre-season and is continuing his late 2010 form. Look for him to take over the inside work of Brett Kirk who recently retired.

Player you are happy to spend money to Watch?

As much as it pains me to say I love to watch a smooth team in the mould of Collingwood play. The combination of Dane Swan’s gut running and Alan Didak’s shimmying and dribble goals make the price of admission alone.

NEWS TYPE STUFF

Last team to lose their first game for the year and what round? Collingwood – Round 10

Which Coach will be Sacked first? John Worsfold – Round 8

Will Karmichael Hunt be a success and how many games?

Karmichael will play the majority of games in 2011 and successfully hold down a key-position role in defence. He will have the occasional where he gets ‘toweled’ up by an athletic full-forward however.

Who is your Favoite Media personality?

Brian Taylor often makes obscures references and mixes up young players names but he has a lot of personality and is very much an acquired taste as a commentator.

Which is your favorite TV broadcast to watch?

Would love to say the Channel 7 Friday night broadcast is the best as it has some of the all-time greats calling the games, but by the time we get the game in Western Australia it’s 3-hours delayed so it’s not worth tuning in.

Which is you favorite radio station to listen too?

6PR does a great job calling the local matches.

What will be the biggest story of the Year?

Brendan Fevola’s progress through the VFL.

Will we have live Friday night games in 2012? No

Who will be the GWS Giants biggest name recruit?

Tom Scully – Signed, sealed and delivered already.

What Prediction should I have asked for and what would your answer have been?
