  1. Hey Molly. Listened to the podcast today, well done mate – I’d say the best podcast so far. Very informative and full of ideas. Specifically, the conference system (Victorian teams versus Interstate teams etc). I personally hadn’t heard of the idea before – so maybe that’s another exclusive for you mate? ;-D And again, loving the new look site – looking forward to being a part of it during the off-season and 2011. Cheers!

    • Thanks mate. There are a few issues of fairness about having a Interstae v Victorian conference system but if those could be worked out, could be a winner. Thanks on the look of the site, just need to work on getting more members in to make the social side tick!

So glad to hear your podcast again. It’s been a long dry spell. Checking on social side now…per your request. From an American perspective it feels that Bret Ratten has been given a lot of time to pull Carlton up in the standings compared to a NFL coach. The Dallas Cowboys just fired their head coach in mid-season. Owner Jerry Jones and his new BILLION dollar stadium didn’t like the losing standings. Are you guys just a little more forgiving???

    • Its an interesting point. I think the Blues coaching job is a little tricky in a couple of areas:
      a) Forget Ratten’s time as the interum coach at the end of the year he was coach as winning no games was a perfect job for the Blues to get the priority pick they wanted that helped them get Kreuzer and Judd
      b) He is a favorite son and they always get a little extra leway.
      c) Having to axe Fev means last years result of making the finals was looked on as being not too bad.
      d) Has made finals last two years but it is time for them to push for top 4 especially with Judd not getting any younger!

On the NFL, it will be interesting if the Coach of my NFL side, the Vikes, can hang onto his job or if he joins the sacked coaches club with Phillips!
